1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Accordion: Gallery Compressor (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms supplement Apple’s applicable App Store terms and standard end-user license agreement.
2. The App
The App provides tools to compress videos on supported Apple devices. Results depend on the source video, selected settings, device capabilities, available storage, and operating-system behavior. You are responsible for reviewing compressed output before deleting or replacing any original video.
3. License
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these terms and the App Store rules. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
4. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the App, interfere with its operation, bypass purchase or access controls, reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits, use it to violate another person’s rights, or use it for unlawful purposes. You must have the necessary rights and permissions for any media you process.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
The App may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices and available products are displayed in the App Store purchase interface before confirmation.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when the purchase is confirmed.
- A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
- Lifetime access is a non-consumable in-app purchase associated with the purchasing Apple ID and the continued availability of the App.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple under App Store policies and applicable law.
6. Updates and availability
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App. Features may require a supported device or operating-system version. We do not promise that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, software, branding, and related materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. Apple and third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with the App and forms part of these terms.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, media, revenue, or profits arising from use of the App. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the App during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may terminate or restrict the license if you materially violate these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
12. Changes
We may update these terms as the App or legal requirements change. Continued use after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
13. Questions
For questions about these terms, use the developer contact method shown on Accordion Compressor’s App Store product page.
